Job description

Overview

Headquarters: West Palm Seaside, Florida, United States
URL: https://wpforms.com/

As an Improvement Supervisor at Superior Motive, you may be part of the WPForms workforce as a hands-on technical chief who is not afraid to get their palms dirty. This isn’t your typical administration function – we’re searching for somebody who thrives as both a pacesetter and a individual contributor.

We’re searching for an Improvement Supervisor who can seamlessly change between writing manufacturing code, architecting solutions, and leading a workforce of gifted builders. You will be anticipated to take care of individual contributions while also driving workforce excellence, mentoring builders, and ensuring our WordPress plugins ship distinctive quality to tens of millions of customers worldwide.

It is a hybrid function where you may spend roughly 40-50% of your time on hands-on technical work and 50-60% on management and administration obligations. You will be equally comfy doing both and can adjust the split based on the number of direct/indirect reports. We’d like somebody who demonstrates high ownership, operates with high accountability, and takes full responsibility for both team outcomes and individual deliverables.

The ideal candidate would not simply manage work – they do the work. You will be in the codebase each day, leading by example, and setting and maintaining a high technical bar. You should be comfortable jumping into complex issues, writing code alongside your team, and making technical decisions with confidence and autonomy while maintaining a high degree of collaboration with the Product Manager.

  • You take pride in both your individual contributions and your team’s success – you measure yourself by every metric.
  • You mentor through pair programming and code reviews, not only meetings and demos.
  • You can give and receive constructive feedback and act on it quickly.
