Medical City McKinney seeks a Wound Therapy RN (Enterostomal Therapist) to develop and implement plans of care for patients with stomas, wounds and ulcers. You will conduct pre- and post-operative sessions, advise patients, and collaborate with physicians and nurses on wound care treatments.

You must practice autonomously with evidence-based standards. The role requires Texas RN license (or compact), BSN, and 2 years of certified ostomy/wound care experience; MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas (or compact)
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• 2 years ostomy/wound care nursing experience
• Completion of WOCN program

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement plans of care for patients with stomas, draining wounds and pressure ulcers.
• Prepare preoperative and postoperative instructional sessions for patients and families.
• Provide advice and counseling to patients and confer with physicians and nurses on wound treatments and procedures.
• Practice autonomously using evidence-based care to support the mission and values of Medical City McKinney.
