Job summary

Ventura County Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse III to lead wound care across inpatient units. You will oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, acting as a resource for wound, ostomy, and continence management and coordinating interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role requires senior nursing experience with a focus on wound care, ostomy, and related therapies, plus BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Requires five (5) years of full-time professional registered nursing experience including two (2) years of full-time experience in Wound and Ostomy Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Implements nursing processes and revises care plans as needed.
• Administers nursing care per policies and Patient Bill of Rights.
• Provides direction to others on complex health problems.
• Educates patients and staff including program coordination.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and participates in care committees.
