Tenet Healthcare seeks a Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (RN) for the Enterostomy Department on a Per Diem basis, daytime shifts. The role emphasizes planning, directing, coordinating and delivering high quality, individualized nursing care per the nursing process and national standards.

Required is a Bachelors in Nursing with recent wound/ostomy experience in an acute hospital. Must obtain Wound Care/Management or Ostomy Care certification within 6 months; BLS is mandatory; CETN/CWOCN

Qualifikationen

• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Minimum experience: Wound and Ostomy experience within past 6 months in an acute hospital.
• Licenses/certifications: BLS. Certification in Wound Care and Management or Certification in Ostomy Care and Management required within 6 months of hire; CETN/CWOCN preferred.

Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process and the benchmark standards of the National Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Association.

Minimum Education:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred

Minimum Experience/Skills:

Wound and Ostomy Experience within past 6 months in an acute hospital

License/Certificates/Credentials:

BLS. Certification in Wound Care and Management or Certification in Ostomy Care and Management from a nationally recognized program upon hire. Must acquire both certifications within 6 months of being hired/transferred into the position CETN/CWOCN preferred
