Job summary

Avalon Health Care Inc. at Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) for a part-time, flexible schedule. You will coordinate wound care, assess and treat residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support healing and improved outcomes.

Active WA RN license (NLC-eligible) and wound care experience are preferred. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills are essential, with long-term care experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license (or NLC-eligible).
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of wound care, skin management, and infection prevention.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee wound care services throughout the facility.
• Assess, monitor, and treat residents with wounds and skin concerns.
• Develop and update individualized wound care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support healing and recovery.
• Educate staff on wound care best practices and skin management.
• Monitor outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives.
