Job summary

The Wound Closure & Healing R&D Organization in Raritan, NJ, is recruiting for a Summer 2027 Intern to assist in developing Wound Closure & Healing products. The MedTech organization focuses on sutures, hemostasis products, staplers, trocars, and energy devices for minimally-invasive and open procedures.

You will perform hands-on lab work, generate models in SolidWorks, fabricate prototypes and document results with good practices. Base pay ranges from $23.50/hr to $52.50/hr for this internship.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university during the internship.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Freshman year or above; GPA 3.2 or higher preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on lab work in engineering labs.
• Develop fixtures and perform engineering studies.
• Generate models/drawings in SolidWorks and fabricate prototypes.
• Evaluate prototypes via surgeon VOC events and document results.
• Collaborate with engineers and external suppliers on projects.
