Job summary

Scotland County Hospital is seeking a Wound Clinic RN to join our wound care team. Under the Wound Clinic Manager, you will deliver comprehensive care for patients with acute, chronic, surgical wounds and ulcers.

You will perform cleaning, debridement, wound dressing changes, medication administration, and management of drains or ostomies as part of a skilled team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current license in Missouri or Compact State
• Current BLS certification
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive wound care to patients with acute or chronic wounds.
• Perform debridement, dressing changes, and manage drains/ostomies as prescribed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and collaborate with the wound care team.

Job Summary

The Wound Clinic RN works as a team member of the wound care services. Under the general direction of the Wound Clinic Manager, this position provides comprehensive care to patients with various types of wounds, including acute, chronic, surgical, and various types of ulcers. Maintaining a solid understanding and knowledge of wound care techniques and treatment. Will perform procedures such as cleaning and debriding bandaging wounds, applying dressings, administering medications and managing drains or ostomies.

Education Requirements

• Current License in State of Missouri or Compact State
• Current BLS Certification
