Job summary

Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Unit Manager for a full-time daytime role in Rhode Island. The position requires an active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island, CPR/BLS certification, and at least two years of wound care experience in a long-term care setting.

A Wound Care Certification is preferred but not required. You will lead wound care care planning, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document outcomes, and ensure HIPAA compliance while

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN or LPN license required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Wound Care Nurse experience in long-term care or nursing home.
• Wound care certification strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care according to nursing standards, physician orders, and care plans.
• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds with sound clinical judgment.
• Deliver wound care treatments based on patient needs and best practices.
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and families.
• Guide and support nursing team with clinical direction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
