Job summary

Priority Management Group is seeking a RN Treatment Nurse to join The Woodlands Healthcare Center in Leesville, LA. The role centers on providing primary skin care to residents under medical direction, emphasizing treatment and therapy of skin disorders.

You will collaborate with the care team to adjust treatment regimens, perform wound assessment and care, and document for Medicare reimbursement to support wound healing and skin prevention. A valid RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Assess and monitor wounds
• Debride, clean, and bandage wounds
• Determine if antibiotics, surgery, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or other treatments are needed
• May care for ostomies, diabetic foot care, and more
• Educates patients and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer care
• Completes Medicare documentation and writes orders to promote wound healing and prevent skin breakdown

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents under medical direction
• Assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet physical and psychosocial needs
• Collaborate with attending physicians, Director of Nursing Services, or Medical Director

Education

Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State

High School Diploma or equivalent
