Job summary

DEERCREEK is seeking a Treatment Nurse to provide prescribed resident care under physician orders and facility policies, reporting to the Director of Nursing to ensure high standards of quality and safety.

You will document nursing notes, communicate plans of care, assist with treatments and medications, and support physicians during visits, while maintaining compassion and professional decorum with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years or more experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with residents and families about plans of care and treatment protocols.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing practice and professional decorum.
• Chart nurses' notes to reflect care provided and resident response.
• Provide resident care including medication administration and treatment as ordered.
