Job summary

Courtland Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Wound/Treatment Nurse to provide high-quality wound care for residents and supervise nursing staff. The role includes obtaining and adjusting treatment orders, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring meticulous documentation and skin-management practices.

Responsibilities include daily wound care, medication administration, staff education, and adherence to infection-control standards to promote resident wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as an RN or LPN.
• CPR certified.
• Wound certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and skin treatments for residents.
• Obtain treatment orders and adjust regimens per policy.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice.
• Maintain charting and weekly skin sheets; update Braden scores.
• Collaborate with wound physician and PCP; coordinate referrals.
