DEERCREEK in is seeking a licensed nurse to provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards and supports the Director of Nursing Services to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing activities, supervising staff, maintaining documentation, and coordinating care plans across the unit. A valid nursing license and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and an active license to practice as a nurse in the applicable state.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants and coordinating nursing services is preferred.
• Strong charting, documentation, and regulatory compliance skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures by nursing staff.
• Lead staff planning, shifts, services, and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
• Chart nurses' notes and ensure accurate, descriptive records.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered and verify patient identity.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel and conduct regular rounds.
• Review resident care plans and coordinate with other departments.
