Job summary

PACS is seeking a Wound Nurse/Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities on your tour of duty in our facility. The role emphasizes adherence to federal, state, and local standards to maintain high-quality care for residents.

You will work under the Director of Nursing, participate in policy updates, quality assurance, and care planning, and ensure staff compliance, accurate documentation, and safe patient discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with licensure in good standing; hospital or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty to ensure quality care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and policies.
• Participate in developing and updating policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and staff adherence.
• Complete reports and coordinate with DON/ADON as needed.
• Assist in discharge planning and resident care coordination; participate in QA activities.
