Job summary

Holland Hospital in Holland, MI seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in wound, ostomy and continence care to join the Outpatient Treatment Unit on a full-time schedule. The role requires Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and a Wound Care certification.

Availability for day shift from 7:30am to 4:30pm will support inpatient and outpatient wound care needs. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination, plus mentoring healthcare staff and ensuring policy

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• Current Michigan RN license (or completed by end of orientation).
• Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days).
• Must have Wound Care certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for the Wound Care program and services.
• Promotes and maintains wound, ostomy and continence care policies.
• Consults with physicians and nurses on patient assessment, care plans and discharge planning.
• Serves as clinical resource and mentor to care team; demonstrates leadership.
• Provides comprehensive assessment and care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients, families and staff on wound care practices.
• Coordinates care with other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
• Ensures documentation and continuity of care; participates in quality initiatives.
