Job summary

Villa At the Park is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team in Michigan. You will provide daily nursing care per individual care plans, supervise nursing assistants, and focus on wound care, ostomy, and continence needs.

Responsibilities include administering medications, transcribing orders, documenting care, and coordinating with other services to ensure comprehensive resident care. CPR and an active Michigan RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
• Current RN license to practice in Michigan.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year of experience (preferred) and long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessments and care plans.
• Direct day-to-day nursing tasks and supervise nursing assistants.
• Evaluate skin integrity and implement wound care protocols.
• Administer medications and transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Document care and resident responses clearly in charts/MAR.
• Coordinate with other services to maintain total resident care.
• Participate in in-service trainings and infection control updates.
• Maintain safety standards and adapt to a flexible schedule.
