Job summary

Healogics, the leading provider of advanced wound care in the United States, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in Springfield, MA to support the Wound Care Center and coordinate patient care. Under the Nurse Manager’s direction, you will manage intake, discharge, and collaborate with physicians to optimize treatment plans.

This role requires an RN license in Massachusetts (ADN required, BSN preferred) and BLS. Wound care experience and certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after training
• May serve as Case Manager for a group of patients with nursing assessment and care planning
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) related duties after training
• Collaborates with Providers, Program Director, and Medical Director as needed
• May act as Documentation Assistant (scribe) as per policy
• Performs other duties as required
