Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support Wound Care Center patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will manage patient intake/discharge, perform assessments, and coordinate care with physicians and staff.

The role requires an ADN and active RN license; BSN is preferred and wound care certification or experience is desirable. A strong emphasis on patient advocacy, teaching, and teamwork is essential in this position.

Qualifications

• RN degree and active license in the state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge processes as assigned and according to hospital and nursing standards.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed.
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients as assigned.
• Perform initial nursing assessment, communicate findings with the assigned physician, assess wound stage and measurements, document care plans, and monitor patient progress toward outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to patient or caregiver, and serve as patient advocate in care delivery and coordination.
• Performs HBO-related duties as assigned after completing Healogics hyperbaric training.
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing the required training.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs.
