Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team on the day shift. You will assess and manage inpatient wound care, educate staff, and collaborate closely with Case Management to ensure timely discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing is required.
• WOCN certification is highly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Collaborative spirit with a passion for quality wound care.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient wound care consults and conduct bedside assessments.
• Collaborate with Case Management to support discharge planning.
• Educate floor staff on wound care best practices and prevention.
• Participate in monthly Skin System meetings and HAPI taskforce.
• Lead the quarterly NDNQI Skin Survey and patient ostomy education.
