Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO seeks a Registered Nurse Operations Support Specialist to lead orientation and ongoing education for two Medical Surgical units. You will serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff, and coordinate nurse onboarding to promote high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong clinical assessment, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and night-shift rounding as needed. BSN and CO RN licensure are preferred; CMSRN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN required or preferred; active RN license in CO.
• Experience in nurse education, staff development, or preceptorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding for nursing staff across two units.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate unit-based education programs and competency assessments.
• Provide direct patient care and serve as a clinical resource and role model.
• Round on night shifts to support staff and maintain education standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to address educational and operational gaps.
