Job summary

Banner Health in Colorado is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team and lead wound care initiatives. You will assess patients at the bedside, educate staff, and support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize inpatient wound care consults and conduct bedside patient assessments on the floor
• Collaborate with Case Management to support effective and timely discharge planning
• Educate floor staff on wound care best practices, pressure injury prevention, and evidence-based interventions
• Participate in monthly Banner Skin System meetings and contribute to the local Hospital-Acquired Pressure Injury (HAPI) Taskforce
• Help lead the quarterly NDNQI (National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators) Skin Survey
• Provide patient education on ostomy care and self-management

What You'll Do
