Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in good standing, with WOCN certification highly preferred, and strong clinical assessment and communication skills to deliver quality patient care on a day shift.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Wound Ostomy Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize inpatient wound care consults and conduct bedside assessments.
• Collaborate with Case Management for discharge planning.
• Educate staff on wound care best practices and prevention of pressure injuries.
• Lead or participate in wound care-related meetings and surveys.
• Provide patient education on ostomy care and self-management.
