Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greeley seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist to coordinate wound care therapy within the nursing plan, and to educate patients and families. The role requires leadership within the team and collaboration with the Director of Wound Care.

Shifts are primarily Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. The hospital offers growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and an employee referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• Provides documents or credentials of graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working.
• Certification from approved Wound Care Certification course is preferred.
• Has current CPR certification and maintains same.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients; participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Position reports to the Director of Wound Care.
