Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in Maryland or Compact state.
• CWCN, WCC or WOCN certification required.
• At least one year of wound care nursing experience.
• BSN or agreement to obtain within a specified time frame.
• BLS certification.
• English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wound, skin, and ostomy assessments across ages.
• Develop and implement care plans based on findings.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and management.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for optimal patient care.
