Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Wound Nurse-RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents. The role requires nursing credentials and experience in wound care, with duties under medical direction.

As a team member, you will assess patient needs, implement treatment plans, educate families, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation. Long-term care experience is preferred but not required; LPNs may be considered.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current, Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of wound care experience.
• Prior wound care certifications/experience required.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Computer knowledge.
• Clear written and verbal communication for documentation and patient education.
• Familiarity with MDS assessment tool.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide direct nursing care under medical direction and supervision.
• Prioritize daily tasks to ensure timely resident care.
• Modify treatment regimens per policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families on healing and wellness.
• Track treatments and patient progress per HIPAA guidelines.
• Monitor non-licensed staff performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
