Journey is seeking a compassionate Wound Nurse to oversee nursing services on your assigned unit, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance. You will lead a care team, coordinate resident assessments, and manage supplies while fostering a collaborative environment.

Active RN license, CPR, and a nursing degree are required. Wound care certification within 6 months of hire is encouraged, with prior long-term care experience preferred. Join us to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Formación

• Active and unrestricted nursing license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Wound care certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
• Wound Care: Provide wound care on assigned residents, in accordance with physician orders, following manufacturer recommendations and appropriate techniques.

Conocimientos

Active nursing license

CPR certification

Wound care certification within 6 mos

Long-term care experience preferred
