Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Outpt Wound Center seeks an experienced Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurse to provide HBOT services under a wound care provider's direction. You will operate the monoplace chamber, monitor therapy, and ensure patient safety while collaborating with the care team.

The role emphasizes nursing process application, patient/family education, and adherence to UHMS standards, with opportunities for professional growth within a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• Applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care.
• Operates monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chamber and monitors therapy.
• Collaborates with wound care provider and health care team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery.
• Analyzes comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continuously evaluates progress and applies interventions.
• Provide hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance per UHMS standards.
• Document all care according to hospital and department policy.
