Job summary

Mount Nittany Health in State College, PA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support wound care services. You will provide direct patient care, participate in case management, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a Nursing license, 2 years of clinical experience, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in wound care preferred; on-site assignment with standard hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current RN license required.
• Wound Care Certification preferred; CWCA or CWS within 39 months of hire/transfer.
• ACLS within four months, BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and case management for patients as per protocols.
• Plans and organizes care with physician guidance during clinic sessions.
• Collaborates with wound care center physicians, Program Director and Medical Director; communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
• Monitors patient cases and serves as patient advocate in care delivery and coordination.
