Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license is required.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Prior wound care experience; willingness to train.
• Prior billing and coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs and acuity.
• Implement physician orders accurately within time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on wound care.

Skills
