Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
• Valid RN license
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Wound care experience (Will train)
• Billing and coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including patient needs and acuity
• Implement physician orders within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and families on wound care processes
