Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a RN or LPN Floater to support wound care patients across our facilities. This role emphasizes patient-centered nursing care, timely response to clinical changes, and education for patients and families.

Training will be provided to equip you with our wound care practices. You will work Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts, participate in ongoing education, and join a team that values mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid RN license is required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with wound care patients is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs and acuity.
• Implement physician orders accurately within time frames.

Our Wound Care Registered Nurses (will train) are the heart and soul behind what we do. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs and evaluatespatient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Additionally, the RN prioritizes nursing actions and will implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training will provide you the tools to be successful in your role.

What You’ll Do

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
• Valid Registered Nursing license required
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
