Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Washington state is seeking a Wound Care RN to join our float pool team. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide comprehensive wound care within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will organize patient care, apply the nursing process, collaborate with colleagues, and advocate for ethical, holistic care for diverse patients while pursuing professional growth and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in Washington State or MLS recognized in WA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Wound certification required or to be obtained within 18 months.
• Two years of wound and ostomy experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality, patient experience and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
