Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN) to provide specialized wound management and support effective healing for residents in our care setting.

The role emphasizes clinical accuracy, consistent documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will assess wounds, develop individualized plans, monitor healing, document progress, educate residents and families, and demonstrate wound care techniques to staff.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in Florida or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Geriatrics or subacute care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess wounds and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform and document weekly wound measurements and rounds.
• Monitor healing progress and identify complications.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
