Qualifications

• Expertise in wound care and ostomy/continence disorders.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and procedures.
• Proficient documentation and charting skills.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and electronic MAR.
• Willingness to adapt to flexible schedules and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care per resident care plans.
• Direct daily functions of nursing assistants per regulations.
• Assess skin integrity and prevent decubitus ulcers.
• Implement wound care protocols to prevent infection and complications.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments for total resident care.
• Document physician orders and resident responses accurately.
