Job summary

Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking a compassionate RN Treatment / Wound Care Nurse to join our nursing team in Hoover, AL. This role focuses on hands-on wound care, assessments, and collaborative care to improve resident outcomes.

Position offers certification assistance and competitive hourly pay of $32.00–$42.00. Prior wound care experience is preferred, and we support ongoing training and professional growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Wound care experience or certification preferred, but we are willing to certify the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments, treatments, and skin care.
• Monitor healing and help prevent skin breakdown.
• Coordinate weekly skin rounds.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the care team.
• Ensure wound care practices meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Educate nursing staff on wound prevention and treatment.
• Monitor treatments, documentation, and wound care supplies.
• Work closely with physicians and nursing leadership to promote positive resident outcomes.
