Job summary

Healogics is the leading provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. The RN at the Wound Care Center performs patient care, intake, and discharge tasks, with opportunities to assist in the vein clinic and serve as a case manager as needed.

The role involves nursing assessments, documentation, and collaboration with the Medical Director and other clinicians, plus HBO-related duties after training. A BSN and wound care certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice throughout employment
• BLS certification demonstrated competency
• BSN preferred; wound care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and manage intake and discharge processes
• Assess wound stage and measurements, document care plans
• Communicate findings with the physician and collaborate with providers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educate patients/caregivers
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties as trained
• May serve as Case Manager for assigned patient group
• Act as Documentation Assistant (scribe) as required
• Other duties as assigned by leadership
