Qualifications

• RN license required
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date
• WCC or CWS certification within 6 months of start date
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide burn and wound care for patients
• Assess situations and manage treatment autonomously
• Advocate for patient safety
• Communicate clinical information to physicians, nurses and staff
• Ensure efficient use of time, supplies and equipment
• Serve as a resource for new employees
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments
• Accurately document in patient records
