Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to deliver specialized skin and wound care under physician supervision. You will promote healing, prevent complications, and improve resident outcomes.

The role requires an active SC RN license, accredited nursing education, and CPR. Wound care experience and PCC familiarity are preferred. This full-time position offers a supportive team environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• Prior wound care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct wound care and skin treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess, monitor, and document wound progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and modifying individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate staff on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.

Position Summary

As a Wound Care Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing specialized skin and wound care to residents under the direction of the physician, Director of Nursing, and/or Medical Director. You will play a key role in promoting healing, preventing complications, and improving overall resident outcomes.
