Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the wound care team.

You will deliver specialized wound care, implementing personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and improve patients’ quality of life. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure advanced therapies, consults, and patient goals stay aligned, while assessing healing progress and adjusting care promptly.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license is required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized wound care by implementing and adapting personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure advanced therapies, specialty consults and patient goals stay aligned.
• Assess healing progress by evaluating skin and tissue conditions in real-time and adjust care protocols promptly.
• Educate patients and families on proper dressing changes, infection prevention and long-term recovery strategies.
