Job summary

Immaculate Mary Center is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to lead wound care initiatives and oversee clinical staff. The role focuses on developing protocols, documentation, and high-quality patient care within our facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• RN license in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
• Wound care certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive wound care program within the facility, including care protocols and formulary.
• Directs clinical staff in wound assessment and proper documentation.
• Provides weekly assessments and reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Performs infection surveillance using CDC criteria and investigates acquired infections.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Wound Care Registered Nurse RN Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive Wound Care program in the facility which includes; care protocol, documentation process, and Wound Care formulary
• Directs clinical staff in assessing wounds and following the proper documentation process every step of the way
• Provides accurate assessments and numbers to the DON on a weekly basis for reporting
• Conducts on-going survey using Center of Disease Control (CDC) infection criteria, documentation, and investigation of acquired infections
• Performs other related job duties as required

Wound Care Registered Nurse RN Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing is required
• RN License in the State of Pennsylvania
• Wound Care Certification required
