Job summary

Gonzaba Medical Group is seeking a Wound Care Physical Therapist to provide specialized outpatient PT evaluation and longitudinal wound management for chronic wounds. You will work within a multidisciplinary Wound Care team, evaluating wounds and related factors to guide therapy and improve healing and function.

The role requires current Texas PT licensure, at least two years of wound-care experience, and collaboration across services to promote mobility while preventing recurrence and hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master's, or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive PT examinations for wound-management patients.
• Evaluate and manage wounds including diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure injuries, and post-surgical wounds.
• Develop individualized wound-management plans of care with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with Wound Care physicians, APPs, and other care teams to optimize healing and mobility.
• Document wound measurements, progress, and changes to care plans.
