Job summary

Gonzaba Medical Group in San Antonio, TX seeks a Wound Care Physical Therapist to provide outpatient wound assessment and longitudinal management for complex, nonhealing wounds. You will evaluate, treat, and document using standardized wound classifications and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Texas PT license, BLS, and at least two years of wound-care experience; DPT or equivalent degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing wound-care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive physical therapy examinations and wound-management evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized wound-care plans with measurable goals.
• Debride, cleanse, and dress wounds within licensure and competency.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and refer when indicated.
• Document progress and adjust plans based on objective responses.
