Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to coordinate wound care and lead hospital-wide education initiatives.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, and ensure highest standards of wound care across the program. This role emphasizes clinical leadership and ongoing professional development in wound management.

Qualifications

• RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term care.
• CPR certification mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars or professional bodies.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and development of wound care services per regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to guide wound care treatments.
• Lead staff education on wound care and educate patients and families.
• Maintain ongoing education on latest wound care techniques.
