Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee wound care services within our acute rehab hospitals. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and help advance hospital-wide wound care initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an RN, PT, or OT license, CPR certification, at least one year of wound care experience, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• License/Certification: RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist for acute rehab hospitals; RN for long-term care hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics and educate patients and families.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on latest wound care techniques and advancements.
