Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead wound care services across our rehabilitation network. You will coordinate treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

As part of a national leader in inpatient rehabilitation, you will drive hospital-wide wound care education initiatives and stay current with the latest wound care techniques to improve outcomes for patients in our

Qualifications

RN, PT, or OT license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
CPR certification is mandatory.
Minimum one year of wound care experience is required.
Continuous education in wound care through seminars and professional organizations is required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patients and families on wounds and wound care.
Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
