Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Los Angeles, CA is seeking physicians to join as wound care specialists. This no-call, Monday–Friday opportunity offers both full-time and part-time options, with hands-on debridement and bedside procedures and comprehensive wound training.

Open to physicians from all specialties; there is autonomy in patient care, opportunities to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities, and a focus on efficient documentation to protect personal time.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Residency and board certification/eligibility are not required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
