Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking Wound Care Physicians to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities around Fremont, CA. This position offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with full-time or part-time options and a competitive compensation model.

Physicians will perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and apply advanced dressings within a collaborative care framework. Training is provided, and the organization emphasizes autonomy and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Unrestricted license in the state of practice (or eligibility)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, complex wounds
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols
• Collaborate with teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings

Education

Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution

Unrestricted medical license in state of practice

DEA license or eligibility
