Skilled Wound Care in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, weekday schedule role offers steady income with per‑patient and per‑procedure pay, plus quarterly bonuses in some cases.

You will diagnose and treat chronic wounds, perform debridement, and apply advanced dressings, while maintaining clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: Welcomes surgeons from various backgrounds; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, with patient follow-up.
