Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Medical License in the state of practice (unrestricted/clear) or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: practitioners from all specialties; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care procedures including surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols in collaborative care across skilled nursing facilities.
• Follow patients through healing in post-acute settings.
