Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Baton Rouge, LA seeks wound care physicians to lead initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers flexible full-time or part-time options with competitive compensation and comprehensive training.

FM/DO must hold an unrestricted license and a DEA license; prior wound care experience is not required as training is provided. Open to physicians from all specialties who want to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
