Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Shreveport, LA is seeking wound care physicians for full-time or part-time roles to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Enjoy a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday schedules, hands-on procedures, and the autonomy to care for patients. Comprehensive wound care training is provided, and physicians from all specialties are welcome to join our team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; residency and board certification not required; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
